Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with obstetricians and antenatal clinic staff to coordinate appointments and ensure seamless patient care.
• Clinically vet all ultrasound requests for obstetric and gynecological cases, ensuring accurate diagnoses and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to data protection guidelines and ensuring confidentiality.
• Participate in the clinical training of clinicians undergoing ultrasound scanning certification, promoting continuous professional development.
• Ensure the safe and effective use of ultrasound machines, providing basic care and maintenance as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Person Specification

• Essential qualifications include a PG Cert in Obs and Gynae ultrasound, HPC Registration, evidence of CPD, and Nuchal Translucency accreditation.
