About the Role
We are seeking a Hospital Services Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality services to our patients.
As a Hospital Services Support Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining an acceptable standard of cleanliness in the allocated areas, using the correct cleaning methods, frequencies, materials, and equipment. You will work closely with our teams to ensure that all areas are clean and hygienic.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an acceptable standard of cleanliness in the allocated areas.
- Use the correct cleaning methods, frequencies, materials, and equipment.
- Clean wards and departments throughout the organization.
- Provide a beverage service to patients and visitors as required.
- Ensure all necessary equipment/machinery is fit for purpose before use and ensure it is cleaned and correctly stored after use.
Requirements
- Ability to accept and prioritize instructions.
- Previous experience working with cleaning machinery (desirable).
- Basic Numeracy and Literacy education (essential).
- Cleaning experience (desirable).
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
Working Hours
The successful candidate will work from Monday to Friday, 06:00-10:00, at Durham Treatment Centre.
