At Service Care Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Morden Youth Development Specialist to join our Preparing for Adulthood Team.

This rewarding role involves providing practical support and guidance to young people aged 16 and above who are in care or have recently left care, as well as unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Your primary objective will be to empower these individuals to become independent and set ambitious goals for themselves.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in delivering high-quality services to vulnerable populations, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by this demographic.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload and conducting assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Working closely with clients to review and update their pathway plans at regular intervals
  • Identifying accommodation needs and assisting clients in securing suitable living arrangements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience working within a similar role, preferably in a youth development or social care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients from diverse backgrounds
