Reeson Education is a premier recruitment agency for schools and educational institutions across the UK. We are currently seeking an exceptional Class Teacher to join our network of professionals. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to make a meaningful impact in a special needs school based in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across Key Stage 1 and 2, adapting their teaching style to meet the diverse needs of students with Severe and Complex learning difficulties and autistic individuals. They will also be required to keep up-to-date with safeguarding and health and safety policies, as well as train in and consistently apply Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
A competitive salary of £30,000 - £50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, is on offer for this full-time position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a strong background in education, preferably in a special needs setting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A passion for delivering high-quality education and a commitment to student success are essential requirements.
