Job Summary:
Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals, is seeking a highly motivated and proactive team member to join our Product Stewardship organization as a Registration Expert - Regulatory Compliance Specialist. This role will be responsible for ensuring the marketability of our products in a cost-efficient manner in the regulated countries, specifically in EMEA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage REACH-like registration projects, taking into account the global registration strategy.
- Plan, manage, prepare, and submit substance registration dossiers.
- Advise the business on potential strategies, manage consortia representation, and communications under REACH-like regulations.
- Contribute to the relationship with EU/UK national associations and EU/UK REACH authority's activities, follow EU/UK REACH developments, and contribute to and support other Product Stewardship pillars.
Requirements:
- Over 2 years of experience in a similar position.
- Chemistry background.
- Understanding of worldwide chemical regulatory frameworks and specifically EU and UK REACH.
- Basic knowledge in Toxicology/Ecotoxicology/Phys-Chem and Analytic.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills - interaction with business functions and customers to capture key information and determine business needs.
- Adaptable/self-motivated team worker in an international environment, with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Flexible, non-bureaucratic style working collaboratively and effectively with individuals throughout the entire company.

About the Role:
This position will be placed in the UK and is a part-time position, approximately 70% workload, for 15 months to replace a maternity leave. The role will report directly into the REACH Team Lead, sitting in Spain.
