Job Title: English Teacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated English Teacher to join our team at Novus - Foundations for Change. As an English Teacher, you will play a crucial role in helping our learners develop their functional skills competencies.

About the Role:
  • Develop and deliver high-quality lessons inculcating ICT skills.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
  • Assess learner needs and develop individualized learning plans.
  • Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support learners in achieving their City & Guilds qualifications.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for all learners.
  • Stay up to date with curriculum changes and best practices in education.
Requirements:
  • A full teaching qualification and experience teaching English/ Maths courses required.
  • Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
  • Track record of effective teaching in subject specialism
  • Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
