The Network Domain Architect role plays a critical part in this journey by designing, implementing, and managing IAG's network infrastructure. This position involves driving innovation, optimizing processes, and enhancing the overall network infrastructure by designing and positioning optimal network architectures that align with IAG's business goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive network strategy aligned with business goals and technology trends.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define network architecture roadmaps and provide guidance on technology investments.
  • Design, configure, and maintain high-performance network solutions, including LANs, WANs, data centres, and cloud-based networks.
  • Provide advisory support for the implementation of network projects, ensuring they meet quality, security, and performance standards.
  • Work with operational teams post-incident to address architectural concerns that affect in-life network stability.

This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations.

Requirements

  • Extensive understanding of large enterprise networks and the tooling (NPM, APM, CMDB, etc.).
  • Experience in a multi-vendor network environment.
  • Knowledge of Wireless, TCP/IP, spanning-tree, subnetting, routing protocols, access control lists, VPN, Network Access Control, and Firewall operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to identify and contribute to continuous improvement/development of specific tooling solutions.
  • Risk management skills, ensuring options are agreed upon and a plan is in place.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Senior-level IT leadership experience in a complex global organization, ideally in a business and technology delivery environment.
  • Experience in promoting and advocating innovative working methods to increase project speed and effectiveness, specifically agile delivery.

Compensation Package

The estimated salary range for this position is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
