Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Full-Time Teaching Assistant in a KS1 educational setting. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting students and teachers in achieving their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who may need additional help.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Engage in interactive activities to enhance students' learning experiences.
  • Help to manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of learning resources and materials.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a KS1 educational setting.
  • A solid understanding of the KS1 curriculum and educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young learners.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
