Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Experimental X-ray Physicist to join our Engineering team designing new technologies for X-ray and CT imaging in the security market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in experimental radiation physics and experience in high-voltage engineering.

Main Responsibilities:

1. To lead the design and development of novel X-ray sources for improved image quality and threat detection capabilities in security screening systems.
2. To collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology development and transfer proven technologies into production.
3. To analyze experimental data, interpret results, and refine designs based on findings.
4. To develop interactions with other science and engineering teams globally to develop engagement on R&D projects.
5. To prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Postgraduate degree in experimental radiation physics or related field.
• Experience in ultra-high vacuum techniques and high-voltage engineering.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• An understanding of X-ray dosimetry and shielding principles.
