About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team in Shavington, Crewe. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with Acquired Brain Injury, Epilepsy, and reduced physical mobility to live their life to the fullest.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on empowering individuals to make their own choices and decisions. You will work closely with the individual and their family to develop a personalized support plan, ensuring that their time is spent doing the things that matter most to them.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with the individual, their family, and other stakeholders. You will also have a strong understanding of the importance of promoting independence, dignity, and respect for the individual at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the individual with daily living tasks, such as mobility and walking
  • Encourage and facilitate participation in activities and hobbies, such as playing Scrabble and going for drives
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the individual and their family
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience in care or support work (not essential, as full training and induction will be provided)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of the importance of promoting independence, dignity, and respect
