We are seeking a highly skilled Global Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team at VRS Regulatory. This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics professional to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of key business operations.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have previous experience within an international import/export company in a logistics/planning role. They must be a confident communicator, numerate with good IT skills, and have strong attention to detail. Experience in chemical production or manufacturing sectors and the handling of hazardous cargo/dangerous goods/chemicals/chemical raw materials would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Import and export of Dangerous Goods (DG) cargo
  • Coordination of production with 3rd parties
  • Responsibility for compliance of labelling and packaging
  • Daily International communication
  • Monitoring customers' orders and deliveries
  • Assisting with forecasting
  • Liaising with logistics, freight forwarders, suppliers, customers and production to ensure optimal product supply
  • Accurate recording and management of the inward processing procedure
  • Production of import and export clearance instructions following the company's inward processing authorisation
  • Preparing and managing weekly delivery schedules
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels
  • Maintaining accurate master data and inventory requirements
  • Raising purchase and production orders

Requirements:

  • A confident communicator (verbally and in writing)
  • Be numerate and have good IT skills
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be diligent, systematic and be capable of highly accurate record keeping

We focus on recruitment in Regulatory Affairs, Registrations, REACH, CLP, SDS Authoring, Product Safety, Compliance, Risk Assessment, Regulatory Toxicology, Regulatory Ecotoxicology and Environmental Fate in the chemicals, agrochemicals and biocides sectors.

Salary Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a comprehensive pension scheme, life insurance, and access to training and development opportunities.
