Project Engineer - C&I


Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at SGS. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective administration of multiple project work scopes.


Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the development of scope of work documents to ensure clarity and concision.

• Engage with stakeholders to capture key project requirements and ensure their needs are met.

• Identify and reference relevant legislation, codes, standards, and specifications to ensure compliance throughout the project.

• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and effective project management controls.

• Participate in tender events with nominated suppliers, ensuring the selection of suitable contractors.

• Implement good project management practices, including risk identification, lessons learned, and financial forecasting.

• Review and ensure the quality of design documentation produced by contractors, ensuring code compliance and timely review.

• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and engagement to ensure effective communication and project delivery.

• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of contractual requirements and ensure adherence to them.

• Author Investment Scheme Papers and develop sound business cases for proposed projects.
