Role Overview
A Linguistics Graduate is sought to provide tailored support to children with speech and language difficulties in a primary school setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of language development and communication strategies, as well as the ability to deliver targeted support to students with varying needs.

About the Role
The successful applicant will work closely with children who have speech and language difficulties, providing one-on-one support to enhance their communication skills. They will also lead small group sessions and collaborate with the SENCO and Primary Teaching Team to create effective learning strategies. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to develop skills and make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with speech and language difficulties
  • Lead small group sessions to enhance communication skills
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and Primary Teaching Team to develop effective learning strategies

Requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants must possess a First-Class Linguistics Degree (or related field) from a top UK university, as well as 1+ years' experience working with children with SEN. A strong understanding of language development and communication strategies, patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children overcome learning barriers are essential.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is up to £500 per week, inclusive of Holiday Pay, paid via PAYE on a weekly basis. This is a contracted position until the end of the academic year. As a valued member of our team, you will receive comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role.
