Cloud Security Solutions Architect

At Wella, we're seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Solutions Architect to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions that protect our digital assets and infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on cloud security, ensuring our cloud environments are secure, scalable, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect cloud-based security solutions, considering security requirements and best practices from the outset.
  • Assess the security posture of cloud environments, identifying potential risks, vulnerabilities, and compliance gaps.
  • Develop comprehensive security plans and strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Design and implement identity and access management (IAM) solutions for cloud environments, including user authentication, authorization, and privilege management.
  • Design and implement data protection mechanisms, including encryption, tokenization, and data masking, to safeguard data at rest, in transit, and in use within cloud environments.
  • Design secure network architectures for cloud environments, implementing network segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and virtual private networks (VPNs) to protect against network-based attacks and unauthorized access.
  • Design and implement security monitoring solutions for cloud environments, including log management, SIEM integration, and real-time threat detection.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organisational policies governing cloud security.
  • Integrate security into the DevOps pipeline, implementing security controls and automated testing procedures to ensure that cloud-based applications and services are developed, deployed, and operated securely.

Requirements:

  • Proven background as a global security architect for a minimum of 10 years.
  • Expert in cybersecurity technologies and operational processes.
  • Strong experience in security technology and deep knowledge of CIS18 controls.
  • Knowledge of CIS, ISF, Mitre, or NIST (or equivalent) security frameworks.
  • Cybersecurity qualifications.
