About the Role

Climate17 is seeking a skilled Lead PV Repowering Project Manager to join their team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for leading repowering projects of solar PV plants from quotation through to implementation. This will involve managing project programs, including planning, coordination, reporting, and overseeing technical and material-related activities.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Project Management: Manage project programs, including planning, coordination, reporting, and overseeing technical and material-related activities.
  2. Interface Management: Facilitate interface with central group and business entity functions, including technical LV & HV, marketing, commercial, and purchasing teams.
  3. Supplier Management: Support establishing a network of suitable suppliers and sub-contractors for PV repowering/revamping projects.
  4. Quality and Safety: Continuously monitor and maintain excellent levels of quality and safety on site.
  5. Additional Works: Support additional works from quotation through to implementation, including management of post-FAC and onboarding punch list items.
  6. Project Delivery: Work closely with Project Coordinator to ensure project delivery.
  7. Program Development: Develop project programs and identify opportunities such as large-scale warranty claims, issues with performance and assets, technology upgrade, etc.

Requirements

  1. Educational Background: Degree in industrial engineering or similar educational background.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in the field of development and realization of PV systems.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Profound knowledge of the PV industry and thorough technical understanding, background in EPC / project development is beneficial.
  4. Software Skills: Well-experienced in using AutoCAD and other design software packages.
  5. Project Management: Project management experience, managing construction and/or additional works.
  6. Financial Understanding: Strong financial understanding.
  7. Installation Experience: Experience in both ground mount and rooftop installations.
  8. Certifications: 18th Edition Electrical Regulations Qualification, NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installation would be advantageous.

Location: Flexible - Hybrid working with travel to Milton Keynes and Sites across UK.
