Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Highways Engineer to join our client's team in Cumbria. As a key member of the National Highways team, you will be responsible for managing technical aspects of larger projects, meeting financial, quality, and timeframe objectives, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical aspects of larger projects, ensuring timely delivery and meeting client expectations.
  • Work alongside team leadership to deliver projects in accordance with Management Systems.
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to promote a culture of excellence.
  • Champion client care and proactively work with clients to ensure maximum satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Substantial experience in local authority highways projects, preferably with Cumbria County Council.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams and promote a culture of excellence.
