Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our close-knit care team at Marchmont House Care Home in Port Glasgow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

About the Role
  • Assist residents with daily routines, such as dressing and staying active.
  • Empower residents to make positive choices and remain independent.
  • Follow personalized care plans, providing hands-on help and thoughtful attention to individual needs.
  • Monitor residents' health, communicate concerns to nurses or clinical managers, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
Your Skills and Qualifications
  • A SVQ/NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant or transferable skills.
  • Genuine interest in caring for the elderly and commitment to delivering excellent service.
  • Integrity, respect, and teamwork values.
