Science Teacher - Secondary School

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join our successful secondary school in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Chemistry Teacher, you will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons, promoting a deep understanding of chemistry principles. The ideal candidate will be committed to raising academic standards and encouraging students to reach their full potential.

### Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons for KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
* Foster an environment that encourages curiosity and scientific inquiry.
* Monitor and assess students' progress, providing constructive feedback and intervention where necessary.
* Collaborate with the Science Department to support the delivery of the curriculum.
* Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs.

### Requirements

* A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS), or a recent graduate working towards QTS.
* A passion for Chemistry and the ability to inspire students.
* Strong subject knowledge of Chemistry at all levels, including A-Level.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
