About the Role

The successful candidate will work within our Forensic Learning Disability Service as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, providing expert advice and interventions to support patients with complex communication needs.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Assess and treat patients with complex communication disorders and challenging needs.
  2. Work closely with other professionals to provide advice, training, and education as necessary.
  3. Supervise less experienced Speech and Language Therapists, assistants, and students as appropriate.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree qualification, a Health Professional Council Licence to Practice, and registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.
