About the Role

Pulse Careers is currently looking for a Radiopharmaceutical Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert-level care to patients undergoing nuclear medicine procedures.

The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, including preparation, administration, and potential side effects. Additionally, they will be proficient in gamma camera technology and able to maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
  • Conducting quality control checks on equipment and radiopharmaceuticals
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any discrepancies or concerns
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Nuclear Medicine or Radiography
  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Minimum 1-2 years post-qualification in Nuclear Medicine (NHS or private setting)

Estimated Salary: £33.00 - £38.00 per hour, based on location and industry standards.
