Job Title: Senior Risk Model Developer

Job Description: Bank of America is searching for a highly experienced Senior Risk Model Developer to lead the development of models used to measure credit default and transition risk for the Global Markets portfolio.

About the Role: The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantitative finance, experience in data analysis with excellent research skills, and solid working experience in a model development role, preferably with significant experience in credit modeling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of IRC, CRM, and IDR models using quantitative tools to understand model behavior and identify improvements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their expectations and plan the delivery of improvements
  • Analyze and develop models to measure different aspects of credit default and transition risk

Requirements:
  • Post-Graduate Qualification (preferably to PhD level) in quantitative finance or a quantitative field
  • Solid working experience in a model development role, preferably with significant experience in credit modeling
  • Excellent programming skills in Python and C++
