Join Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a pioneering recruitment agency, in a new permanent position for a Social Work Team Manager. This role is part of the Adult Continuing Healthcare Team, working full-time in Cambridgeshire. The salary for this position is up to £51,545 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the planning, allocation, and review of workload to ensure priorities are met, shortfalls are identified, and services are delivered within capacity and departmental policies.

* Provide written and verbal reports that are concise, informative, and based on analysis of complex evidence.

* Provide cover for the Service Manager and Head of Service during short-term absences.

* Ensure regular meaningful supervision and appraisal for every team member, with SMART performance and development objectives set and reviewed regularly.

* Lead on the management of poor performance and inappropriate behavior, grievance, and disciplinary matters in a timely and effective manner.

* Maintain operational systems and ensure compliance with the case file management process in accordance with departmental policy.

* Contribute to the development of integrated services and policy, promoting new ways of developing service user care and taking account of national initiatives and performance indicators.

* Manage the delivery of high-quality and effective integrated specialist health and social care services to respond to the needs of service users and their families in a timely manner within statutory guidelines or service specifications.

* Work with local partners to ensure the management and delivery of specialist health provision.

* Carry out the duties of a registered Care Quality Commission Manager, ensuring the service meets the required standards.

Requirements:

* A social work qualification or equivalent.

* Experience of leading and managing teams to achieve high performance.
