About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Groveside School, a brand-new Acorn School in Reading, Berkshire.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach and support students in a SEND environment
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEND provision

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience in teaching and supporting students with SEND
  • A passion for teaching and learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
