About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Groveside School, a brand-new Acorn School in Reading, Berkshire.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and support students in a SEND environment
- Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Monitor and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEND provision
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience in teaching and supporting students with SEND
- A passion for teaching and learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
