We are seeking a skilled and ambitious individual to join our Higher Apprenticeship Programme as a Mechanical Apprentice. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of energy transmission and distribution.

This three-year apprenticeship programme offers a unique blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience, allowing you to develop your skills and expertise in mechanical engineering.

You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, from designing and implementing new solutions to maintaining and upgrading existing infrastructure. Our experienced engineers will guide and mentor you throughout your journey, providing valuable insights and support.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,819 per year, plus a range of benefits, including 26 days annual leave, double-matched pension contribution scheme, and professional membership subscription paid for.

Key Requirements:

  1. A Level Mathematics or Physics (C or above) or equivalent qualification
  2. Five GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including Maths and English Language (grades 4/C or above)
  3. A valid driving licence is required by the end of your first year, permitting you to drive in the UK
