Maintenance Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at CV Technical Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for creating and developing a site maintenance function, establishing policies and procedures to ensure best practice, and mentoring and leading the department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Direct line management, coaching, and training of the Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance team
  • Accountability for project management of all aspects of M.E projects to support site development and launch
  • Planning the workload for specific major projects across production shutdown periods
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver on-time, on-cost product launches
  • Preparing RFQs, contract review, and risk management
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities
  • Liaising with outside contractors as required
  • Ensuring that agreed work by staff or contractors has been completed to a satisfactory standard and following up on any deficiencies
  • Successful coordination of running changes
  • Managing plant interface in support of program targets and common faults, driving corrective actions based on impact in terms of frequency and total time stoppages
Requirements:
  • Candidates must be time-served multi-skilled engineers, preferably certified to HND/degree level
  • Experience as a Maintenance manager or supervisor
  • Strong SolidWorks knowledge
  • Experience managing, training, and coaching others
