Senior Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead the performance of our Schemes across the South region, maximising their potential and driving growth. As a key member of our team, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment, building strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders to create mutually successful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Account Management for key Schemes, delivering regional and UK strategies, and achieving mutually successful partnerships for Hiscox and brokers.
- Understand opportunities and challenges in the market through close and consistent broker engagement.
- Build market leading Scheme propositions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver growth targets on existing and new schemes, identifying new opportunities through broker profiling and prospecting.
- Collaborate with broker partners and across Hiscox Sales, Underwriting, and Operations to review scheme performance, identify opportunities to grow, improve the proposition, and find efficiencies.
- Account Management experience working for an insurer.
- Schemes or delegated authority experience would be beneficial.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proven track record of relationship management and customer focus.
- Ability to adapt your style to suit many levels of engagement from a junior account handler to a Managing Director.
- Strong negotiating skills and ability to empathise and influence.
- Structured and organised to manage portfolio priorities.
