We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Water Utilities team at RSK Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing projects in the water industry, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects in terms of scope, time, cost, quality, resource, communications, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
- Effectively control and manage project change, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Deliver projects to the As-Sold financial metrics or better, ensuring maximum value for our clients.
- Manage contracts under various frameworks and standalone contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement resource management strategies to drive successful framework delivery, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and minimizing waste.
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems, driving innovation and efficiencies into project delivery.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to team members, ensuring effective coordination and delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
- Organize and chair professional client meetings, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
- Coach and mentor team members, including performance management, career planning, and learning and development.
- Professional qualification in Project Management and/or an engineering discipline.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, monitor, and control projects.
- Leadership skills to manage project teams and create positive change.
- Motivated to manage projects in the water sector.
- Experience in a project management role on consultancy projects.
- Understanding of consultancy commercial models for both project delivery and tender development.
- Knowledge of programme management using Microsoft Project or other suitable software.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving as an individual and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated customer-facing success in project management and effective client relationship management.
- Collaborative individual that effectively builds teams.
- Liaison with internal and external clients to develop relationships across the business.
