Job Summary

We are currently looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team in the Kettering/Corby/Wellingborough area. The geographical patch to be covered is the NN postcode area.

Responsibilities

  • Find, diagnose, and rectify faults on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment at our customer sites.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance on Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Work with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks and automated trucks.

Requirements

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, hydraulics.
  • NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) qualification is ideal, although not essential.
  • IT literate and able to use latest technology to keep accurate records and place orders.
  • Hold a full UK driving license.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with our customers and internal colleagues.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Take pride in your work and complete tasks to the highest standard.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A positive and can-do attitude.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the role.
