Gas Engineer Job Description

Sanctuary Property Services is seeking a highly motivated Gas Engineer to join our Regional Gas Management team in Banbury. As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and diagnosing gas boilers, central heating, and unvented hot water systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintain gas boilers, central heating, and unvented hot water systems
  • Utilize analytical and trade skills to diagnose and repair faults
  • Complete and submit gas safety records, identify and respond to risks, record logging, and complete work via electronic device tablet or phone
  • Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as needed from our partner suppliers
Requirements:
  • Qualified to CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, Unvented - G3 Certificate, Water Regulations (WRAS) or currently undertaking the qualification
  • Previous experience servicing and repairing boilers
  • Ability to work alone on a variety of different boiler types and systems
  • Proactive approach to health and safety, creating a safe environment for all
  • Renewable experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Full valid UK driving licence

  • £42,007 per annum (rising to £44,218 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
