Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at Redesdale Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of learning and providing pastoral care to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Class Teacher in planning and delivering strategic intervention activities for individuals or small groups.
  • Work alongside other staff to evaluate and adjust learning objectives and activities, monitoring children's responses against agreed action plans.
  • Provide pastoral support for children in and out of the classroom, including supporting children with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and achievement of all students.

  • High-quality practitioner with high expectations for all children.
  • Proficient in supporting all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Effective communicator and keen to work in collaboration with colleagues.
