Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School with a focus on supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the needs of supporting SEND children and previous experience working with children in similar environments. Strong communication skills and patience are essential for this role.

The school is looking for a candidate with at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and previous SEND experience. If you have a passion for supporting children with SEND, please read on for more information about this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children with SEND in a Primary School setting
• Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized plans for children with SEND
• Use your communication skills to effectively support children with SEND and their families
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development

Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent child-based qualification
• Previous experience working with children with SEND
• Strong communication skills and patience
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
