We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-focused individual to fill the position of Stores Person within our logistics team at Apex Resource Management's Daventry location.

In this fixed-term 8-week contract role, you will be responsible for effectively receiving and processing parts, ensuring seamless communication with the purchasing team, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Goods Processing: Efficiently processing received parts, verifying their accuracy, and reporting any discrepancies to the purchasing team.
  2. Quality Monitoring: Regularly inspecting incoming goods for quality and reporting any issues to maintain accuracy and reliability.
  3. Stock Management: Organising and maintaining the storage facility, ensuring ease of access for the team.
  4. Part Preparation: Preparing parts for use, either individually or in kits, and presenting them in accordance with our high standards.
  5. Inventory Tracking: Utilising a barcode stock control system to track inventory with zero tolerance for errors.
  6. Part Packaging: Precision packing, labelling, and bagging parts to meet our quality expectations.
