Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

About the Role

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing technologies in our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. This position requires working in non-traditional shift patterns, which may include nights and weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work carried out, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and regulations.

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site.

• Respond quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected stakeholders, and work efficiently to resolve the issue.

• Collaborate with and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.

• Manage contractors effectively.

Requirements

• Hold a full Engineering indentured Apprenticeship and/or be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant Engineering subject (City & Guilds EAL, SVQ/IVQ, BTEC at Level 3).

• Possess multi-skilled knowledge in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.

• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

• Experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with panel wiring.

• Experience with sortation machines.

• Experience with print and apply machines.
