About the Role: We are recruiting for an SEN teaching assistant to work in a school near Lancaster. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting pupils with special educational needs and be able to provide high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to a pupil with special educational needs
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure seamless support for pupils

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a school or similar setting
  • Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
