About Humres - Construction Recruitment Specialists: Humres is a leading construction recruitment agency specializing in placing skilled professionals in Mechanical Building Services Contractor roles. Our client is a busy Small/Medium sized Mechanical Building Services Contractor focusing on Commercial Heating, Domestic Services, Above Ground Drainage, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Projects.
About the Role:
This varied position will include managing projects (ranging from £50K to £1.5M) from tender acceptance; by placing orders with specialist subcontractors, plant, and materials; job costing and preparing programs. The successful candidate will:
- Organize site labor and liaise with the professional team, such as the Architect, Consultant, and QS, the main contractor, and the site foreman.
- Prepare monthly valuations and prepare operating & maintenance instructions.
- Markup record drawings and prepare and finalize final Accounts.
- Occasionally assist in preparing tenders.
About the Candidate:
The ideal candidate should hold an ONC/HNC in Building Services Engineering or equivalent. Experience in running/managing HVAC Projects is essential. Possessing design capability would be a bonus when involved in Design & Build Projects. The successful candidate should be a creative and innovative thinker with a flexible approach.
