PDI Supervisor Job Description

Ford & Slater Limited, a leading DAF Truck dealer group, is seeking a skilled PDI Supervisor to join our team in Leicester. As a PDI Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our vehicle preparation process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-timing and prioritizing job cards to maximize productivity and revenue
  • Monitoring fitter performance and completing job card write-ups to minimize job changeover time
  • Liaising with the sales department to understand customer expectations and work with them to meet demands
  • Ensuring all time booked is accounted for and at least 95% productivity is achieved on every job
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a PDI Supervisor, Workshop Controller, or similar role within the HGV, Commercial Vehicle, LGV, PSV, Heavy Plant, Car, or associated sector
  • Experience of preparing, planning, and problem-solving in a fast-paced working environment
  • Up-to-date knowledge of basic H&S legislation and practices
