Gov Facility Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join their team at HMP Winchester, a category B adult male local prison. As a member of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the prison.

The ideal candidate will have a formal qualification such as NVQ or City and Guilds of at least level 2, or considerable work-based experience with knowledge of current best practices and material, tool, and equipment safety standards. They will also possess an ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities when reactive maintenance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of carpentry work including repairs and renovations
• Assistance with other trades as required
• Participation in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

What We Offer:

• An estimated salary of £32,438.51 per annum based on a 39 hour week
