Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply expertise in network and routing protocols, enterprise-class networking platforms, and Next-Gen Firewalls to architect and build scalable, robust, and secure systems.
  • Drive the deployment of infrastructure using configuration management tools.

Requirements:

  • Thorough understanding of network and routing protocols (TCP/IP, LACP, MLAG, OSPF, and BGP)
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-class networking platforms (Arista, Cisco - IOS, Nexus)
  • Thorough understanding of Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Firepower)
  • Network and Linux administration and security – authentication and authorization systems, audit, hardening, analysis (including IPSEC and RADIUS)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities, including packet-level traffic analysis
  • Technical architecture and design including high availability systems and networks
  • Advanced Programming and Scripting for Automation – Ansible, Python, and Bash

Desirable Experience:

  • Technical writing skills including creation of high and low-level network and system designs
  • Experience working with data center and service provider networks is a plus
  • Experience implementing, operating, and supporting open-source tools for network and systems monitoring on Linux platforms (Zabbix)
  • Experience with Multicast Routing (PIM, IGMP)
  • Experience with PostgreSQL for databases
