Job Overview

As an Inside Sales Specialist at VAT, you will play a crucial role in developing sales opportunities and understanding customer needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying potential accounts through lead follow-up and outbound cold calls/emails
  • Understanding customer requirements and advising on suitable product selection
  • Responding to quote requests, application assistance, and resolving customer issues
  • Providing direct support for sales managers, channel partners, and distributors
  • Routing qualified opportunities to sales managers for further development and closure
  • Closing sales through diligent follow-up and achieving quarterly quotas
  • Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest
  • Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects within assigned territories
  • Collaborating with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
  • Participating in sales team meetings and contributing to sales improvement initiatives
  • Inputting and tracking customer engagements via CRM systems
  • Proactively driving the sales pipeline by ensuring quotations and opportunities are entered in the VAT CRM system
Key Experiences

To succeed in this position, you should have:

  • Prior experience in direct or indirect sales, including agent representations
  • A solid understanding of CRM administration or data maintenance
  • A business diploma or degree (desired)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites, particularly Excel
  • The ability to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills in English
