They have a vacancy for a qualified domestic gas engineer to cover the WD postcode area, carrying out maintenance and repairs within domestic social housing properties on a local housing association contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out annual gas safety checks (LGSR)
  • Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
  • Following all Health & Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records

Requirements:

  • Gas qualifications held for a minimum of 2 years
  • Experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding/diagnostic and repair skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

Working Conditions:

  • 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Additional overtime and weekend work available
  • Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided
  • Monthly bonus
  • Out of hours call out rota, 1 week in 4

Benefits:

  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
