Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our infrastructure team. As IT Infrastructure Director, you will be responsible for designing and managing hybrid IT environments, leveraging Azure cloud services, and ensuring robust networking with tools such as WatchGuard firewalls and UniFi systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Manage Hybrid IT Environments: Develop and implement secure, scalable systems, leveraging Azure cloud services, and ensure robust networking with industry-standard tools.
  • Lead the Service Desk: Inspire a dedicated team to provide outstanding support, streamlining processes with Jira Service Management, and maintaining high standards through SLAs and KPIs.
  • Drive Cybersecurity Excellence: Implement forward-thinking security measures, establish IT policies, and lead disaster recovery planning to safeguard operations.
  • Support Business Growth: Align IT strategies with retail goals, playing a vital role in the expansion of retail outlets across the UK.
  • Manage Strategic Initiatives: Collaborate on long-term IT plans, oversee budgets, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership in managing technical teams and infrastructure in high-pressure environments.
  • At least 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure, with expertise in cloud technologies (preferably Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to shifting priorities.

Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
