Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Branch Coordinator to join our team at Maximus UK. As a key member of our branch team, you will play a vital role in supporting the candidate journey, providing information and guidance, and promoting our available services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for candidates, providing a promotional and informative overview of our services and gaining candidate commitment.
  • Conduct pre-streaming questionnaires and eligibility checks to ensure candidates fit the criteria for our contracts.
  • Build relationships and manage expectations of candidates and their accompanying individuals.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of our services and direct candidates to the right service first time.
  • Liaise closely with the Branch Manager, providing information and statistics for reports and branch performance management.
  • Complete documentation and record referral information onto our Clientele database system.
  • Develop local relationships with JobCentre Plus, referral partners, and recruitment organisations to attract and engage eligible candidates.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a role where sales, promotional, or influencing skills are required.
  • Background in face-to-face customer service.
  • Experience of working to structured targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt to a wide range of communication and learning styles.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, specifically around listening, questioning, and building relationships.
  • Influencing skills that promote commitment and action.
  • Customer-focused with a strong commitment to customer care.
  • Ability to plan and organise workload to meet required targets and deadlines.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills to facilitate management reporting.
  • Strong team player with a positive and flexible approach to both work and colleagues.
Business Priorities
  • Reducing the time of the candidate's journey to employment through efficient scheduling of appointments.
  • Ensuring that branch presentation is consistently in line with required branch standards.
