This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Payroll Manager to support a Head of Payroll and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all payroll related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process and review in a timely and accurate manner all aspects of payroll.
  2. Work with Head of Payroll to design payroll processes, procedures, and approaches for consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  3. Work closely with the Finance Team to own payroll period end, including but not limited to posting payroll journals.
  4. Assist in the management of relationships with external Payroll and T&A providers.
  5. Stay current on regulations, benefits changes, and labour laws impacting the payroll process, and ensure compliance for all payroll tax jurisdictions.
  6. Build excellent relationships with all stakeholders to provide our team members with a first-class payroll experience.
  7. Work with Head of Payroll to review, implement, and communicate new releases within the payroll software.
  8. Check payroll reports and take ownership of investigating and resolving all payroll queries.
  9. Ensure all payroll regulatory filings are completed timely and accurately.
  10. Understand pension auto-enrolment requirements and manage the implementation of employer automatic enrolment duties.
  11. Manage, process, and review salary sacrifice schemes.
  12. Manage and process Payroll Year End, P11Ds, and payrolling benefits.

Requirements

A successful Payroll Manager should have:

  1. A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices.
  2. An ability to use payroll software with accuracy and efficiency.
