Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team in South West London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians in surgery, ensuring all procedures run smoothly and safely.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients.
  • Conduct nurse consultations, offering advice on pet care, nutrition, and preventative healthcare.
  • Monitor anaesthetics and assist with diagnostic imaging.
  • Perform clinical procedures, including blood sampling, vaccinations, and administering medications.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping of patient history and treatments.
  • Support the training and mentoring of junior veterinary staff and students.
Requirements
  • Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) status or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrable experience working in a veterinary practice, with confidence in handling animals.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and demonstrate initiative.
  • Passion for animal welfare and client care.
