Job Description - Registered Midwife - Casual

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our casual pool at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora, Te Matau a Maui, Hawke's Bay. As a casual midwife, you will provide high-quality care to our patients, working across the midwifery scope, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity to support the Hawke's Bay community while utilizing your talent in a supportive and highly professional hospital. You will need to be available for shifts on an on-call basis, working across the midwifery scope, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality midwifery care to patients, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
  2. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  3. Participate in on-call shifts, providing care to patients as needed.
  4. Contribute to the development of innovative programs to improve maternal and infant health and wellbeing.
