Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Support Specialist to join our team at Autism Unlimited. As a Community Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and their families in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with autism, promoting independence and community integration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care plans, finances, appointments, and medication.
  • Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and medication routines.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure seamless support and services.

Requirements

  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
