Job Title: Spinal Injury Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Spinal Injury Support Worker to join our team at Libertatem Healthcare Group. The successful candidate must be flexible and able to cover all shift patterns on a planned rota basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with personalized routines inclusive of hoists to support clients with spinal injuries.
  • Support independence and continued rehabilitation through daily living activities.
  • Manage neurogenic bladder and bowel conditions, including catheter care and bowel regimes.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients' conditions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
