Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at Iris Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, including building safety, fire regulations, and COSHH, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain accurate records and records for all health and safety compliance activities.
  2. Monitor and report on compliance and performance of the fire risk assessments and water/electrical/gas/lifts/asbestos testing programmes.
  3. Provide a monthly schedule of properties that have their gas capped along with reasons why the gas is capped.
  4. Support the Project Surveyors to deliver health and safety related service and cyclical contracts from inception to completion in accordance with current legislation.

Requirements:
  • Basic Project management experience (inception to completion) undertaken in building or associated works programmes, including contract administration.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety at Work including the CDM Regulations.
  • Good working knowledge of standard I.T. packages including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
