Job Overview

At TE Connectivity, we're looking for a skilled Metal Finishing Specialist to join our Plating Teams. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for operating assigned automated plating machinery, ensuring component flow, troubleshooting and correcting machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule
  • Perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results
  • Maintain housekeeping and organization of the work area
  • Follow TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Understand and follow all plating procedures associated with the one process line within 6 months
  • Consistently meet production targets set by supervision within 2 months of being introduced to a process
  • Be fully conversant with all aspects of safety in the Plating Shop and associated areas within 1 month
  • Make routine additions to solutions with minimum supervision within 6 months
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times
