Salary
The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience. This salary reflects the importance of this role in leading the borough's urban infrastructure development efforts.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Urban Infrastructure Development Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering transport planning projects and providing policy input into strategic infrastructure projects across the borough. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery of our aspirations and ambitions, including the emerging Active Travel and Electric Vehicle Charging Point strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering transport planning projects on time and within budget.
  • Providing policy input into strategic infrastructure projects.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to support delivery of our aspirations and ambitions.
  • Deputising for the Team Leader as required.


Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need strong transport / spatial planning skills, experience dealing with Members, political astuteness, and several years of experience working in the transport planning industry. A comprehensive understanding of planning and local government legislation is also essential.
